A Nursery’s First Steps

Hey guys I’ve been quiet for a while so I just wanted to give you an update on what we’ve been up to. We started prepping the walls of the nursery for a fresh coat of paint but it turned out to be a much bigger project than we originally anticipated. There are about 5 layers of wallpaper in this room that are refusing to come off smoothly!

It’s slow going but we’re making progress. Before tackling this project, we researched different methods to remove wallpaper but the only thing that seemed to work was spraying water on the hard to remove sections and letting it soak in before removing it. The rest is just a lot of elbow grease and a good metal putty knife.

Once all the wallpaper has been removed, we’ll skim coat the walls to get them smooth then do some painting. Until then, wish us luck!
