After three weeks of renovating, tiling, and painting, I finally have a completed entryway to share with you guys! We decided to paint it this beautiful coral color by Behr called – Indian Sunset. It goes perfectly with our emerald green door and adds a nice pop of color to the space.
Also, I took a bit of a calculated risk by painting the window in the space a trendy black knowing that we’ll be replacing some of the windows in the near future and I absolutely love how it turned out! I secretly want to do this to every window in the house, but don’t tell my husband…
Here’s the final result!
The rug was the first item I purchased for the room so it inspired everything I brought in. The basket is from Michael’s and I just added a few DIY tassels. What do you think of the tiles?? I’m very pleased with how it turned out and I won’t have to worry about getting them wet like I did with the hardwood floor!
I fell in love with this ceramic hook coat rack from HomeSense and it matched the blue in the rug so it was an easy sell.
For art, I just framed these free printables from TheGraphicsFairy.com. You can find them here! http://thegraphicsfairy.com/free-vintage-flower-images/
I added some roman bamboo blinds to the window and just some simple sheer curtains to soften the black.
Since it was such a small space I really wanted to experiment with bolder colors to distract from the size of the room. Also, I knew that if I didn’t like it, it would be soo easy to paint it back. Hope you guys are having a great weekend! Onto the next project :)
