Make Your Own Wreath!

Okay, so it’s been a while since I’ve posted something and I’m going to blame it on a nice long summer which kept me out of the house and put all my projects on stand still. But now that fall is here I’m ready to hunker down and get to business! My sister-in-law, Krista, has got to be one of the most creative people I know, she can really keep me on my toes :) We love to share ideas and recently she showed me a wreath she made for fall… krista wreath I had been thinking of making a wreath but couldn’t find the motivation until I seen hers. I loved her style so much that I stole a few ideas for my own so she deserves all the credit for this post :) wreath 1 We also have the same door :) This cost me $23 to make! I got everything I needed at Michael’s and was able to find some discounted fall flowers since they were getting all their Christmas stock in. All you need is the following:

  • Twig Wreath – $4.99
  • Ribbon – $2.99 (Used 50% off coupon, regular $5.99)
  • Ornament (I found this bird for $4.99)
  • Wood Letter $1.99
  • Artificial Flowers $.99 each (bought 5)
  • Glue gun (already own one)

Position your items first before you start gluing, I tried a few different designs before I settled on this one. After this I don’t think I’ll ever buy a pre-made wreath again! A new one will usually run you $50 or more so this is half the price and, best of all, it comes with bragging rights :)
