With just over two weeks to go, Christmas is in full swing and I just finished prepping my dining room for some holiday entertaining. This year’s table setting is full of color and whimsy. And if you’re loving the pompom theme, be sure to check out my DIY whimsical wreath and gift wrapping paper from previous posts.
I’ve had so much fun using non-traditional items this year to bring a pop of color to my Christmas decor. Like these pink paper fans from Michael’s and these Christmas cone trees made from vintage yellow pompom garland.
I recently stumbled upon this large bamboo mirror at a second-hand store that I just had to have for the dining room. I spray-painted it a glossy navy blue and added some DIY pompom garland and tassels for a festive touch.
This table setting was so much fun to put together and very inexpensive thanks to HomeSense, Michael’s and the dollar store!
I already had the blue and white chinoiserie plates so I just paired them with these lime green chargers and a hot pink table cloth. And how cute is this gold cutlery set from HomeSense?? shhhhhh….it’s plastic but only $5.99 for a set of six!
I’m tempted to leave the dining room like this all year round! I’m loving the mix of colors with my blue and white pottery collection.
Minus the nutcracker, I think this eclectic and colorful setting could be used for multiple occasions and is sure to bring a smile to your guests face!
